Terms and Conditions
All orders are dispatched and delivered as quickly as possible.
All orders are delivered to your door by either our friendly crew (if installation is required) or via Courier.
All Courier deliveries will not require a signature, unless specifically requested by you.
We will notify you by email when your order is dispatched.
We will make every effort to package the blinds adequately for delivery to you by Courier. We take no responsibility for damage to the blinds incurred during transit via Courier.
As all our products are custom built specific to your requirements, we do not provide a refund should you decide to cancel the order once the production of the order is started.
Under Consumer Guarantees Act, all goods proven to be faulty and/ or damaged will be replaced free of charge.
Please note that you take full responsibility for the accuracy of the measurements provided for your order. Please therefore carefully read our measurements guide and when in doubt – please do not hesitate to ask for help from our friendly crew at Blinds Depot.
If any measurements were taken incorrectly and the order requires altering or must be re-made, you accept full responsibility for the cost of these changes.
All products manufactured by us are ‘square’, and we therefore take no responsibility for windows that are ‘out of square’ shape.
Installations are performed during the weekday evenings or weekends, unless agreed otherwise.
It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange a full and clear access to windows, eg. remove any obstructions such as any furniture items and/ or existing window dressings. Additional charges may apply otherwise.
Standard installation services are provided for an average household. Installations requiring access to excessive heights and/ or work performed on windows with limited access must be discussed with us before an order is placed. Additional charges may apply.
Blinds Depot has zero tolerance policy towards credit card fraud. All information in relation to alleged or attempted fraud will be reported to all relevant authorities.
Blinds Depot offers a three year warranty on all of our products.
This warranty is limited to either (at Blinds Depot’ own discretion) repair of the defect or full replacement of the product or its components.
The warranty shall not cover any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise through:
- failure on the part of the buyer to properly maintain the products and or follow any instructions or guidelines provided by Blinds Depot; or
- the continued use of any products after any defect becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent user; or
- fair wear and tear, any accident or act of God.
Furthermore, the warranty shall cease and Blinds Depot shall thereafter in no circumstances be liable under the terms of the warranty if the workmanship is repaired or altered without the Blinds Depot’s consent.
At Blinds Depot we are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers’ personal information. Keeping your financial information secure is one of our most important responsibilities. We value your trust and handle your personal information with the greatest of care. We will not sell, trade or in any way provide your personal information to any other third parties.
All personal information provided to Blinds Depot are regarded as confidential. We will not use individuals’ contact details for purposes other than products offered by Blinds Depot. These details are not made available to any other organisations under any circumstances, unless your permission has been sought and obtained beforehand.
We also provide e-mail newsletters to our customers on the quarterly basis to let them know about any new products available and specials and promotions. If you do not wish to receive these newsletters again, please click on “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the e-mail and you will not be contacted again.
Please note that your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via Blinds Depot website. All transactions are processed through PayPal to make your shopping online more convinient. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Your credit card details are not held and cannot be accessed by Blinds Depot.
No statement, recommendation or description contained in any of the advertising materials, pages of this web site and/ or by any employee of Blinds Depot NZ Limited shall be interpreted as to vary or override any of these Terms and Conditions.

In no event shall Blinds Depot NZ Limited be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this web site, including, but limited to punitive, incidental, indirect, direct and consequential damages.
